About

Monica Gasperini, architect and designer, was born in Cattolica (Rimini) and graduated in architecture in Florence in 1999.  Subsequently she founded the studio which bears her name and she began important collaborations with several Italian fashionhouses and design studios such as Aeffe, Pollini, Giorgio Armani and Rodolfo Dordoni.  With her studio in Cattolica and an office in Milan, she embraces various activities: architecture, interior projects and product design.       

Today Monica Gasperini divides herself amongst Cattolica, Milan, Florence and London.  She operates in Europe, USA and all around the world developing projects for private dwellings such as villas and lofts, boutiques and showrooms, hotels, restaurants and watercrafts.

In Milan and Florence she finds her habitat designing exclusive collections for galleries like Rubirosa and Flair, one of the most exclusive houses of home decoration in Europe, besides having presented its products in various settings eg. 'Salone del mobile', Artemest in New York, in Paris' Maison Object with Lelièvre Paris, in London it is present in hotel & hospitality logistics, and finally it is present in New York inside an important project by Timothy Godbold.

Monica has recently presented the project 'Mamma Smart' a special bench, designed to fully satisfy all women's and mother's requirements.  An object with an essential shape, an evident retrò style, equipped with all the technological neccessities typical of a smart city including a bike parking space.

Her items have been selected and presented on the most important online platforms of luxury design such as Artemest, 1stdibs and Pamono.  Furthermore, one of her cabinets in bronze and fabric was amongst the 16 best designed objects selected by the Financial Times USA for 'How to spend it'.

Success awards her natural sensibilty highlighting the quality of every subject together with the capacity to capture the paths of sense and prospective of design.
